Privacy policy

Balise Studio respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect on this website, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us:

  • Contact form: name, email, company name (optional) and your message.
  • Audit request: name, email, company, website address, industry and goal (optional).
  • Booking a call: name, email and any information you choose to provide when booking.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your request, prepare your audit or call, and follow up if you become a client. We never sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses no tracking cookies and no advertising tools. To measure traffic, we use Plausible Analytics, a tool that sets no cookies and collects no information that can identify you.

Service providers

To run this website, we use the following providers, who may process your information on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting
  • Formspree: form submissions
  • Cal.com: appointment booking
  • Google Workspace: email
  • Plausible: anonymous visitor statistics

Some of these providers may store information outside Québec. Before entrusting them with information, we assessed that they offer adequate protection, as required by law.

Retention

Requests that don’t lead to a contract are deleted after 24 months. Client information is kept for the duration of the business relationship, then for the period required by tax laws.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

  • request access to the information we hold about you;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Write to us at bonjour@balisestudio.ca. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with theCommission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS only. Access to information is limited to the people who need it to respond to your request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with its update date.
